The sibilant S are due to the record mastering. The elimination of all groove deformation during or after the cutting process has provided improved transient behavior between disks cut in lacquer and DMM cut w masters (DIRECT METAL MASTERING Technology, from 1982). With DMM, the instruments rich in upper harmonics and the sibilant voices are particularly free of coloration.
With DMM, the elimination of lacquer springback also eliminates pre— and post groove echo.

L'album si apre con la rilettura rock di Jerusalem, inno patriottico-liturgico molto noto nel Regno Unito, scritto dal poeta preromantico William Blake nel 1804-1810 e musicato da Hubert Parry nel 1916. Il brano fu pubblicato anche come 45 giri per il solo mercato europeo e fu bandito dalle radio britanniche perché giudicato blasfemo.
