In 1961, The Glenn Miller Band appeared in a summer replacement show on CBS entitled, Glenn Miller Time. The band was under the direction or Ray McKinley and appealed directly to older audiences who enjoyed big band swing. In the Mood was the signature song of the Glen Miller Band and their performance is well practiced.
